Trendyol Desi Dispute 2026: How to Appeal a Shipping Desi Overcharge
Is the desi on your Trendyol shipping invoice higher than your product's desi? How to find the gap, file a desi dispute from the panel, a sample request text, and the limits.
In this article
On Trendyol, the shipping fee is deducted from your payout based on the parcel's desi. If the desi the carrier billed is higher than your product's real or registered desi, the difference has been deducted from you too. Not every gap is an error; sometimes the parcel really is bigger. But if the gap is clear and you have a measurement, you can file a desi dispute. This guide shows how to find the gap, where to open the dispute, what to write and what the limits are.
What is desi and how is it calculated?
Desi is the parcel's volumetric weight: width × length × height (cm) / 3000. In shipping pricing 1 desi counts as 1 kg, and the carrier charges whichever is greater, the desi or the actual kilogram. The measurement is of the packed parcel, not the product itself; an oversized box means a higher desi. You can work out your parcel's desi in seconds with the desi calculator.
How do you find a desi gap?
- Download the shipping invoice details. On the Finance > Invoice Listing screen, find the invoice with the "Shipping Invoice" filter and get the per-order desi with "Download Details".
- Compare it with the product's desi. Put the billed desi next to the desi registered in your listing and your own measurement of the parcel. The comparison is clear for single-item orders; for a parcel with several items, the billed desi is the desi of the whole parcel.
- Document the measurement. Measure and weigh the parcel and take a photo of the measurement. That evidence carries the dispute.
For other kinds of shipping deductions (two invoices for the same parcel, a fee for an order that was never shipped), see the Trendyol deduction check tool.
Trendyol desi dispute, step by step
- Open the request. Dispute the order's desi through the Seller Panel (Support / Live Help, shipping topic). Menu names can change, so check the right heading in the panel.
- Add the evidence. Attach the measurement photo, the parcel dimensions (width × length × height) and the invoice details. If several orders are affected, an Excel sheet with the order number, product name, billed desi and measured desi makes the work easier.
- Act early. Disputing within the week you see the shipping invoice improves your chances. The request is passed to the carrier and the review can take weeks; keep your request number.
- Follow the outcome. If the dispute is approved, a price-difference invoice is created; you can follow it on the Finance > Invoice Operations > Pending Invoice Requests screen.
Sample desi dispute text
The text below is a sample; you send the request through the support request in the Seller Panel. Fill in the brackets with your own details:
Hello, on the shipping invoice of order [order no] the parcel was billed at [Y] desi. The packed dimensions of the product are [width × length × height] cm, which is [X] desi; the desi registered in the listing is also [X]. I am attaching the measurement photo and the invoice details. I kindly ask for the billed desi to be reviewed, corrected if appropriate and the difference refunded. Store name: [store], Seller ID: [ID].
How does Riseluc flag a desi gap?
When you connect your Trendyol store to Riseluc, the desi on the shipping invoices is compared with the desi read from the product's approved listing on Trendyol. For orders that meet the conditions, a dispute draft is prepared on the Returns and disputes page. We state the limits plainly:
- Trendyol only. No desi dispute draft is prepared on other marketplaces.
- Conditional. A draft is prepared only for orders placed in the last 90 days, with a single shipping line and a gap of at least 2 desi. No draft is prepared for orders placed before desi tracking started, or before the product's desi last changed or was approved, nor for orders that already received a shipping dispute refund.
- The amount is an estimated upper bound. The amount shown is the invoice line's proportional share for the extra desi. Because the shipping fee does not grow in proportion to the desi, the real difference is usually lower.
- Trendyol decides. You review the draft and send it to Trendyol yourself; whether the dispute is accepted and how much comes back depends on Trendyol's review.
See how it works together with commission gaps on the deduction and desi disputes page. For disputing other deduction types, read the Trendyol unfair deduction dispute guide; for the shipping rates themselves, read the Trendyol shipping fees article.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I file a desi dispute on Trendyol?
In the Seller Panel, by opening a support request about the order's desi (Support / Live Help, shipping topic). You can first find the per-order desi on the Finance > Invoice Listing screen with the Shipping Invoice filter and download it with Download Details. Menu names can change, so check the current path in your panel.
Do I need a separate petition or form for a desi dispute?
The request goes through the support request in the Seller Panel. The text in this article is a sample: it helps you state the order number, the billed desi, the desi you measured and your evidence clearly. Attach the measurement photo and the invoice details to the request.
If I file a desi dispute, will the difference definitely come back?
No, Trendyol decides the outcome. If the dispute is approved, a price-difference invoice is created and can be followed on the Finance > Invoice Operations > Pending Invoice Requests screen. The amount that comes back is usually lower than the invoice line's share of the extra desi, because the shipping fee does not grow in proportion to the desi.
