What actually remains from a Pazarama sale
The commission rate is only the first cut. From the sale price, Pazarama takes commission with 20% VAT added on top, adds a per-shipment service fee (reference 4.75 TL + VAT — verify it in your panel), you pay shipping, the state withholds a 1% e-commerce withholding tax, and you remit the VAT payable (sales VAT minus the VAT on cost, commission, shipping and the service fee). Only after all of these do you see the real net profit — which is what the calculator above isolates.
Why the VAT-on-top model matters
On Pazarama a 15% commission is not 15% of the sale; the 20% VAT on top makes it about 18%. If you priced your product using Trendyol's VAT-inclusive logic, your Pazarama margin is thinner than you think. Break down the commission line in detail with the Pazarama commission calculator.
Pricing to a target margin
Use the calculator in reverse: fix your cost and rates, then adjust the sale price until the net margin hits your target. To understand the difference between margin and markup, see the profit margin calculator. Before joining a campaign, check that the discounted price still clears break-even.
Comparing with other marketplaces
The same product nets differently on each channel. Put Pazarama, Trendyol, Hepsiburada and n11 side by side with the marketplace profit comparison.
Method and sources
The calculator uses the rate you enter, the Pazarama VAT-on-top commission model, the 1% withholding tax base (VAT-excluded sale) and VAT payable (sales VAT minus the deductible VAT on product cost, commission, shipping and the service fee; cost, shipping and the service fee are entered VAT-inclusive, and a negative result carries over instead of adding to profit). Commission rates, the per-shipment service fee and the exact VAT position must be verified in the Pazarama seller panel and your accounting summary.
